The 21st Art Festival — Miyazaki: From the Outside Looking In — was held from Wednesday, August 5 to Wednesday, August 19 at Carino Miyazaki 2F, and from Friday, August 21 to Saturday, September 12 at Carino Miyazaki B1. The outstanding works in each category, decided by the votes of visitors (a total of 338 votes), are as follows. Congratulations to all the winners!!

・It was a wonderful exhibition that really captured what makes Miyazaki special.
・Seeing works that clearly convey everyone’s love for Miyazaki made me love Miyazaki even more. Thank you all so much.
・The way everyone feels about Japan resonated with me on a deeply though-provoking level. I want to give everyone first place.
・The colors and lines left a strong impression. It was great to learn about the culture of everyone’s home countries.

・Since there are no foreigners around where I live, I really enjoyed gaining an insight into how foreign residents in Miyazaki experience life here. It really lifted my spirits.

・Even from my perspective as someone who is not a resident of Miyazaki Prefecture, all the works made me feel the warmth of the land and its people, leaving me with a sense of tranquility and peace.

The exhibition will now go on a tour around the prefecture. The schedule will be announced on our website and Facebook once it has been decided.
The four winning entries will remain on display for a while at the International Plaza on the basement floor of Carino Miyazaki.
