The 20th Art Festival — Miyazaki: From the Outside Looking In — was held on Saturday, September 27 at Miyazaki Municipal University, and from Thursday, October 2 to Saturday, October 25 at Carino Miyazaki. The outstanding works in each category, decided by the votes of visitors (a total of 569 votes), are as follows. Congratulations to all the winners!!

Out of all the visitors, we received comments from 158 people about the exhibition.

・It’s wonderful that the beautiful culture of Miyazaki has been brought out so brilliantly. I’m truly happy about that.
・It was interesting to see how foreign residents in Miyazaki feel about the local environment.
・All of the works were wonderful. I’m glad that people from other countries have come to love Miyazaki.
・I was very pleased that people from abroad felt something when they saw the scenery of Miyazaki and Japan, and captured it through their photos. Every piece—photographs, paintings, calligraphy, and crafts—was beautiful. Please keep enjoying Japan!

The exhibition will now go on a tour around the prefecture. The schedule will be announced on our website and Facebook once it is decided.
The four winning entries will be on display for a while at the International Plaza on the basement floor of Carino Miyazaki.
