This is a collection of our articles published in the monthly column “Living in Miyazaki” on Miyanichinichi Newspaper, providing useful tips and information for foreigners about daily life in Miyazaki.
Japanese Language Classes
If you struggle with learning Japanese and do not have many opportunities for proper instruction, we recommend joining the Japanese language classes at CARINO Miyazaki.(Please note that Miyazaki International Foundation will be moving to CARINO Miyazaki, in central Miyazaki city from this April.) This class is for beginners who have no past experience learning Japanese. The new term will start on Tuesday, April 11. Interested persons are encouraged to contact us soon.
Japanese Language Lessons for Foreigners
Dates: Tuesday, April 11 - Tuesday, July 25.
Every Tuesday and Friday. 30 classes in total.
＊Except for the public holiday(May 5).
Time: 10:05 a.m.-11:35 a.m.
Location: CARINO Miyazaki 8th Floor
Fees: \2,835 for textbook
Perticipant Limit: 15 people
To Enroll: Submit the application form by mail, fax, or in person. (Available at the Miyazaki International Foundation,
local goverment offices etc.)

※Apart from the Japanese class, we also introduce Japanese volunteers for private practice. If you'd like to learn Japanese from a volunteer, please contact us.
There are lots of Japanese study materials at the Miyazaki International Foundation, including books, tapes/CDs, videos etc., which you can borrow
for two weeks free of charge. Please come and check the out the resources available at the Foundation.

Level: Cannot speak Japanese or can only manage simple greetings.
