1 year anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake

Sunday, March 11th, will mark the one year anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
At 2:46 p.m. , the time when the earthquake occurred, a siren will sound throughout the prefecture.
Please do not be alarmed; this does not indicate a state of emergency.
To honor the victims of the disaster, we ask that everyone offer up a 1 minute moment of silence when the siren sounds.

Elementary Japanese Language Course for Foreign Residents

The Miyazaki International Foundation will be hosting beginner level Japanese courses for foreign residents. *Registration Required

4/10 (Tue) - 7/10 (Tue), Every Tuesday & Thursday
10:10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 25 Sessions in Total
*No class on 5/1 (Tue) and 5/3 (Thu)
◊Location:
CARINO Miyazaki, 8th Floor, Multi-Purpose Room B
◊Target:
First time learners of Japanese, individuals that would like to learn the fundamentals of reading and writing Japanese
◊Class Fees: 1,000 yen
